today was a GREAT day

Yep, thats right...today was a great day!

After class this morning I went to breakfast with my good friend Teri. She is such an amazing person. I needed somone to talk to about some things in life and knew she would listen and have a few good things to say. I have been struggling with trying to change who I am and how I am lately. I am trying to be a better Christian and along with that I have lost a few friends along the way and I am sure there are a few more who will exit before this is all done with. Look for a blog or two about all that cause I am sure they are coming.

This is the mural on the wall in the nursery at my church that Teri has began to paint. After breakfast I went and helped and it made me feel good. Our girls got to play for a bit and I got to do something to better my church. When it's all done it will be baby David and the sheep on a hill. As you can see baby David has been started and his sheep are coming along quite nice. I can't wait to see it when its done. In the other pic Teri is puttting some wood putty in the holes on the coat rack we painted. Now we are smart women but we kinda forgot to do the putty before the first coat was put on. OOPS! Our bad. But hey, it will still look great when its all done. I will definatly post pics of the finished room!

I got Tiff's first report card today and I was VERY happy. She got 2 C'and 8 B's. The C's i was expecting in math and language arts becuase she has been struggling a little bit but I am still happy. During the parent teacher conference Mr. M told me that he was very impressed with her and that she is trying very hard and he already sees great improvement. We have a deal about her next report card, I think she can get all A's and if she does she gets $50 bucks to buy any Wii game she wants. I hope this little incentive pushes her more to do the best she can.
The pic above is the queen of munchkin land riding her bike outside this evening. She is showing off her new trick that she is so proud of. LOL! she is so silly!

STAY TUNED FOR MORE!
